Dear NAPCH Members,

We are again going to host a mini seminar at the above listed location. Training will run from 8am-4pm on the 17th , and 8am-12 on the 18th. We will have master trainers as well as trainers on hand to assist with the training. Training will consist of tracking, building search, narcotics detection, explosive detection, area search, evidence search, aggression as well as decoy education.

Even though we target the K-9 teams that are more isolated from other departments (thus being held in the UP) and trainers, ALL NAPCH members are welcome to attend. There is no cost for the day and a half training. All articles for training (odor / aggression equipment etc.) will be provided, we ask that you bring all of your utility gear with you. To hold the seminar we need at least 10 teams to sign up, and we will take up to 20 teams thus giving us a good student to instructor ratio and less down time.

To sign up for the seminar you MUST contact one of the following master trainers and reserve your spot. Sign up will end on May 5th. If we do not have enough teams signed up we will notify you of the cancellation,

(If you send an email please include your name, department and name of K-9)

For those that attended last year this is the same hotel just under a different name. For those that did not attend last year, the hotel is about 3 minutes from the training site. The Luce Co. Airport and fairgrounds are right off 28 approximately 2 miles east of 123 on co. Rd. 399.
